What is the Send on Date for electronic Bill Pay?

The Send on Date is the date that you select when scheduling your online electronic payment using Bill Pay in Online Banking and is displayed within the calendar widget when scheduling a bill payment.  The Send on Date is when the funds will be withdrawn from your account at approximately 9:00 p.m. EST.

What is the Deliver by Date for electronic Bill Pay?

The Deliver by Date is the date you select that you would like your payment to be received by and is displayed within the calendar widget when scheduling a bill payment. The process time is approximately 3 business days to arrive to the person/vendor you are paying.

What is the Send on Date for online check payments using Bill Pay?

The Send on Date is date that you select when scheduling your online check payment using Bill Pay in Online Banking and is displayed within the calendar widget when scheduling a bill payment.  The Send On date is when Union Savings Bank will check to see if the funds are in your account at approximately 9:00 p.m. EST. The funds to cover this payment must be in your account BEFORE 9:00 p.m. EST. If funds are not available at this time, the payment will fail and an email/alert will be sent. If the funds are available, the payment will be sent.

What is the Deliver by Date for online check payments using Bill Pay?

The Deliver by Date is the date you select that you would like your payment to be received by is displayed within the calendar widget when scheduling a bill payment. The process time is approximately 5 business days to arrive to the person/vendor you are paying. These checks are sent as if they were from you and funds will be withdrawn from your account when the payee cashes your check.

When will online Bill Pay payments be deducted from my checking account?

Funds for online Bill Pay payments will be deducted from your account on the same day the payment is sent to the payee; which is referred to as the payment’s “Send On Date”.

How do I open a Union Savings Bank personal checking account?

Please visit a branch to open your account. The process should take less than 15 minutes. Please bring two different forms of ID, e.g. a valid driver’s license, credit card, insurance card or passport. You must also bring funds for the minimum required deposit in form of cash or a check.

Yes. Our Relationship Checking account offers eight free foreign ATM transactions per account each statement cycle, and we will rebate the fee other banks charge. Our Classic Student Checking account also offers eight free foreign ATM transactions per account each statement cycle.

Does Union Savings Bank offer any overdraft services?

Yes, we can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:

1. We have standard overdraft practices that come with your account.

How old do I have to be to open a personal checking account?

An individual personal checking account may be opened by any legally competent person, adult or minor (person under the age of 18) who is able to sign his or her own name.

Does Union Savings Bank offer checking accounts for students?

The Classic Student Checking account is intended for students and will be converted to a Classic Checking account after five years. USB ATM and Debit Cards are provided to customers who are 18 years of age or older; if it’s a joint account (accounts titled jointly with an adult parent or guardian), a card will be issued to an individual aged 16 or older.

Do I get a free USB savings account when I open a USB checking account?

No, you must open and fund a personal savings account separately from your checking account. Find out which personal savings account is right for you.

Are there any fees with a USB Online Banking account?

Can I use Online Banking to transfer funds to and from my USB account to another account outside the bank?

Yes. You can make Account-to-Account (A2A) transfers to and from other U.S. financial institutions.
