What are contactless payments?

Contactless payments allow you to tap or wave your contactless USB Debit Card over a store checkout terminal without needing to swipe or insert the card. It’s touchless, faster, easier and safer than cash and other payment methods.

How do I know if my card is contactless?

Look for the Contactless Symbol on the front or back of your card.

Does USB instant issue contactless debit cards?

Yes, open a new checking account or Health Savings Account, and instantly receive a new debit card right in the branch. If you open your account online or order a new card over the phone, the new card will be instantly issued to your USB Mobile app where you can add to Apple Pay and use immediately while you wait for your plastic card to arrive in the mail.

Why should I use contactless payments?

Contactless payments provide an electronic record of your purchases and provide all the same benefits of Visa debit card, so you can add a tip and even get cash back (where available).
