Acceptable Forms
of Identification for Account Opening
To open a GoalGetter Checking and GoalGetter Savings account as a joint account, the parent/guardian must provide two forms of ID, with one being a Primary Form of ID. For the minor, two forms of ID are also required; both can be Secondary Forms of ID.

- State of CT Learner’s Permit with Photo
- U.S. Passport
- Foreign Passport with Photo and legible ID number
- State of CT ID card with Photo (non-operators’ card)
- Permanent Resident Card
- Military ID with Photo
- State of CT Pistol Permit with Photo
SECONDARY FORMS OF ID
- Birth Certificate
- Insurance card
- Voter registration card
- Organizational membership card
- Permanent Resident Card
- Senior Citizen Photo ID
- Union Membership Card
- State of CT assistance ID card
- Student or work Visa
- Social Security Card
- High School ID card with Photo
- College ID with Photo
- Employer ID Card with Photo (reputable business)
- Property tax bill
- Credit Card
- Current utility bill from customer primary residence (electric, phone, gas)
- Lease signed by the landlord
