As of November 12, 2025, balances between $.01 and $2,000.00 will earn a companion rate of 5.12% APY; balances $2000.01 or more will earn a companion rate of 1.01% APY. The total blended APY will range from 1.01% to 5.12%. Without a GoalGetter Checking account, the account will earn 0.03% APY on all balances. Minimum of $5 to open. The child named on the account must be under 18 years of age. At age 18, the account will convert to Essential Savings Account and earn the APY Union Savings Bank is offering at that time. Limit one account with companion rates per child. Rates subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time.

2 If you do not have sufficient funds available in your account to cover a transaction, the transaction will be declined in most cases. It is possible for the account to be overdrawn and have a negative balance, but no overdraft fees will be charged.
