Danbury, CONN. (June 20, 2023) – Union Savings Bank (USB) announces that Joseph Chelednik has joined the bank as a residential mortgage loan originator.
In his new role, Chelednik will be responsible for originating residential mortgages including purchase and refinance, primary mortgages, as well as second and investment homes. Chelednik will work out of the Ridgefield branch, 100 Danbury Road and he will also be part of the Norwalk branch Solutions Team, when the new office opens this summer.
Chelednik brings nearly 20 years of experience in residential lending, sales management, and real estate investing to Union Savings Bank. Most recently he was a senior vice president, mortgage banker at The Federal Savings Bank, Ridgefield, CT. Prior to that he was a sales manager and loan originator at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, Fairfield, CT and a certified mortgage planning specialist at Fairfield County Bank, Ridgefield, CT.

Chelednik earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Fordham University, Bronx, NY. He received his Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) designation in 2005. Highly active in his community, Chelednik is a member of the Ridgefield Lions Club and a member of the Men’s Ministry at St. Mary’s Parish in Ridgefield, where he resides.
