DANBURY, Conn. (August 13, 2026) — Kimberly Reyes, community relations coordinator and manager of the Union Savings Bank Teachers’ Closet,℠ organizes a collection of new crayons, markers, colored pencils, and notebooks donated for the 10th Annual Teachers’ Closet School Supply Drive. Running from August 1 through August 31, 2026, this month-long community initiative invites local residents to drop off essential classroom materials at any local branch or shop directly through the online Union Savings Bank Amazon Wish List. The drive ensures that local K–5 classroom teachers can request and receive free supplies through the bank’s portal, preventing educators from paying out of pocket to stock their classrooms for the upcoming school year.
