Customer Fraud Tools

Protecting your accounts starts with the tools already built into USB Online Banking and the USB Mobile App. These digital features help you monitor activity, control your cards, and respond quickly if something doesn’t look right.

Online Banking Alerts

Stay informed about important account activity in real time.

You can set up customizable alerts to notify you about:

  • Changes to your username, password, or personal details
  • Account balance updates
  • Direct deposits
  • Withdrawals or other transactions

Choose to receive alerts by email or text — whatever works best for you.

To set up alerts:

  • In Online Banking: Log in and select “Manage Alerts” under “Self Service” at the top of your screen.
  • In the Mobile App: Log in, tap “More” (bottom right), then select “Notifications & Alerts” under “Settings.”

Debit Card Controls & Alerts

Manage your debit card directly from the USB Mobile App.

With Card Controls, you can:

  • Turn your debit card on or off instantly
  • Limit transactions by location, merchant type, or dollar amount
  • Receive alerts when your card is used

Misplaced your card? Turn it off until you find it. Left it at a restaurant? Disable it immediately. If fraud is suspected, you’ll know right away.

To access Card Controls:
Log in to the USB Mobile App, tap the debit card icon at the top right of your screen. Then swipe to select the card you want to manage. Here you can set up controls, manager your card or freeze it.

Contactless Debit Cards

USB contactless debit cards provide added security and convenience. Each contactless purchase generates a unique, one-time transaction code, helping reduce fraud risk while delivering a faster checkout experience.
