What We Gave in 2011

The unique philanthropic spirit that exists at Union Savings Bank remains strong. Our mission as a mutual bank calls for us to support the families, neighborhoods and towns that we serve, and each year we eagerly rise to that challenge.

• In 2011, Union Savings Bank donations totaled $1.6 Million to the communities that we serve through the bank and USB Foundation.

• Our employees devoted over 16,000 hours of time and energy to support a multitude of programs and services that directly impact our communities.

• The Union Savings Bank Foundation’s contribution of $214,300 in grants helped 33 local non-profit organizations fulfill their missions of supporting the needs of children, families and the elderly living in western Connecticut.
